Fresh and bright. This pure silk saree has a leaf green body woven with fine vaaira oosi zari checks and gold buttas, set against a pastel mint border richly woven in gold zari. The tonal greens give it a light, modern feel while keeping all the richness of traditional Kanchipuram weaving.

Handwoven in the time-honoured Kanchipuram tradition, the silk has the lustre, body and graceful fall these sarees are treasured for. The contrast border is made using the korvai technique: the border and body are woven separately and interlocked by hand, so each colour stays crisp and distinct. It is a saree made to be worn for years and passed down.

Ideal for mehendi and haldi ceremonies, daytime weddings and festive gatherings. Style it with a mint, gold or pink blouse and antique gold jewellery.
