Bandhani (or Bandhej) Sarees use the tie and dye technique that involves dyeing a fabric which is tied tightly with a thread at several points. The main colors used are yellow, red, blue, green and black, although new colors have been introduced. These sarees are mainly from Gujarat and Rajasthan. They are a good choice for weddings and parties.
